Combat Rogue in Dungeons...

So last night I was working on my rogue, and decided I wanted to use something other than daggers because every rogue is running around with dual Wicked Daggers and honestly I am tired of it. Also daggers look like toothpicks on male pandas.

So I decided to put on some swords, since I happen to have a Blackwater Cutlass and a Buzz Saw and I got lucky enough to get an Ironpatch Blade to mog them to. Now I was getting somewhere.

I also decided to test out a new spec too, so I went combat/shadow focus with blade flurry up except on bosses where it would be single target. Let me tell you it worked out great for PvE. My Dps was outstanding and my BF damage was enormous. I topped the Dps charts with 24 monks and also was able to get 5 CP super fast using the combo:

Ambush -> Revealing Strike -> Sinister Strike -> Sinister Strike -> Eviscerate

With Blade Flurry up this mowed down trash like a pro. You need Shadow Focus because BF reduces your energy regen.

This may not be the best spec, but I enjoyed doing something different.

working on getting a loom sword for my rogue right now . combat seems so hipster that it would be fun

I'm rolling a new rogue withdual buzz saw atm. Stayed sub, but using shadow focus. With shadow focus I can get off a 5 point evis before Master of Subtlety fades. It's pretty sick. I haven't tried combat, but swords/maces are definitely viable. I logged onto my cata-BiS rogue for the first time yesterday and pulled 235 DPS in a WC with dual mcgowans, significantly more than wicked/doomspike.

I did the exact same thing yesterday on my rogue, I did combat with same specs, pve style, same rotation you did, and i used twin boa haste hammers. Boy o boy i topped dps easily.
but combat isnt good for pvp though I tried
