20 / 24 hunter

Volsci

Legend
Soo, I really enjoy hunter mechanics but I've restrained from rolling a lowbie hunter due to the sheer OPness.

While looking for the scholo trinket on my 39 hunter, however, i noticed that damage is much lower than normal. And then I saw threads about lots of 24's going to hordeside because of hunter nerfs or etc.

Soooooo (End of school, exasperated mood ^^) - am I safe to make one now without feeling too faceroll? Disengage + posthaste looks sexy. How is the population of hunters looking? has it died any?

Thanks,
-Kohes

P.S. It's either a hunter or my level 13 rogue is going to 24, since I have a full scout set to use for teh mogs.

Damage is gone but the amount of cc makes up for it. If you plan on going at it solo, you may find yourself losing half the time against competent healers that attempt to juke you into exhausting all your stops. As a team player, I'd say the Hunter is a strong supporting class to help break up a lot of the healing and give your side a better chance at winning the skirmish.

Well the percentage of hunters in BG went from 60-70% to 10-20% average in ABs and Wsgs.

Baddies need to roll FotM OP classes to at least perform decent, after the patch i did a couple wsg on both F2P and 24 huntards, and tho i felt the decrease on dmg, i managed to top the charts on both Kills and dps, i got destroyed by priests tho. Why SV is no longer the best spec after the patch idk, but i owned a lot of foes in that spec.
