State of 19s from an Activity Standpoint

I've been gone from 19 twinking and wow in general for quite a while but got a birthday e-mail from the site a few weeks ago. I started reading around the site today and kind of wanted to pick up my 19 rogue again for fun. I mainly wanted to know how the activity level was for solo Q'ing 19s before I spend a lot of time re-installing WoW and updating/patching. I'm also sure my gear is outdated and i'm terribly rusty (and was probably terrible even when I played). I really just miss the fun that was 19 twinks as well as the competition and comradery that went along with it. It was always a rush to get into WSG and immediately pull up the scoreboard to see if you recognized any names on the other side. %90 of the time you knew right away what kind of game it was about to be. Thanks ahead of time for any info. If I decide to do this i'll probably post my armory link so that I can get help re-gearing if need be.

A lot of old names you'd probably recognize are coming back for MoP. With the addition of real ID, you'll always know who you're playing with/against even if they're on an alt or something.

The gameplay has also slowed down a lot from cata, the classes are more balanced than we've seen in a long time and it's only getting better with each update.
 
Activity has gone up a lot since the new patch.

Not exactly, considering alot of people started school again around the time the patch went live. But it's still good to see a lot of new names (the ones that aren't rolling druids/shamans that is) as well as returning players.
 
rogues just suck atm, we cant get even close to hunters, and other classes.
our damage is pretty good but how are we gonna do damage if we cant get to our target :(
 
Coming from someone who is on a Non-twink server, Solo Qing has never been better, Unlike Cata where you almost had to have a group with you so You could be sure to have heals/fc/task oriented players, Now you know for the most part Heals will be in the game. And even when you see premades I feel there is a chance that you wont get rolled as long as you play your class right.

A well played rogue has the most burst/damage in the first 6 seconds than any other classes and is very key when it comes to dropping a FC. bye you saying that obviously must have been a player who only rolled a rogue in cata due to the fact that they were OP in a sense with the sprint/SS. I can tell you from a healing point of view Rogues are often my least favorite class to see in wrsg as with there kick and good burst they can easily make a healers life hell.

rogues are very viable, can create huge oppurtunties in BGs that other classes just cant, nightstalker allows them to get ahead if they posistion themselves well, and subterfuge is flat out an amazing underlooked talent, youre literally able to ambush someone then sap ANYONE not in combat aroudn him within the 3 second it breaks.

you can have a lot of fun solo queing on a rogue

rogues are viable, thats true, our damage is really good. I really like the damage. But when we need to fight vs a hunter, mage, shaman, druid...we dont have the cd's to get to them. I also think rogues were OP i cata but they took almost all cd's away.
 
it was CATA that brought rogues back and they were OP at the start until nerfed.

imo most OP classes in CATA where h-paladins/d-priests/s-hunters, in tow then came arcane mages/rogues/aff-warlocks.

WT premade they lost used 2 rogues other team used 1, 1 healer is more gamebreaking than 1 rogue

in MOP until we see the monk so far still on top are h-paladins/d-priests, but now bal-druids are the new hunter and res-druids/shams are good again. although they have no sap, a feral druid imo is the new rogue

yea wtf do hunts have increased detection or something now? i sware im no where near u

or i guess its cause our stealth is level is lower now since we used to be able to spec into increased stealth level shizz

Hunters can track all types of creatures now, and that includes track hidden which greatly increases our stealth detection :3

now its starting to make sence i was wondering how you could pick me off at 10 yrds every time i would attempt to ambush you!
 
Why are people calling balance druids the new hunters? They have nothing else in common but being the top dpsers of their time, and good at controlling mid.
