Can someone convince me that 16 spell power is better than 10 haste? Im currently loving faster casts then slightly more powerful. With the HUGE heals wouldn't that make spell power almost less valuable? The size of the heals are so large that any healer can full heal an ally with 1-3 casts. Also factor in over healing (makes your topping off heal's pell power not even matter).

So from strictly observation, my healers stat priority is

Haste
Crit
intellect - spellpower

Even though there is rarely a situation where it's really an even choice.

I know mop isn't hear, but I see everything I just said holding when mop drops.

Id love to be proven wrong! Hit me with it
 
Haste is horrible at level 19 for the healers I have. I don't know how you can be loving the faster casts when there is really no discernible difference in the speed. 10 haste gives my priest .075 sec. off a 1.5 sec flash heal (1.425 sec cast). Eight hundredths of a second is pretty ridiculously fast. Dots like SWP that start at 18 sec. drop down to 17.15 sec. which is more consequential, but dots right now are fairly ineffective. I'm not gonna calculate hps or dps over time spamming spells because I don't find myself in those situations really. Unfortunately, GCD is not in character information, but it should take a hefty amount to notice anything there too (if someone else knows what 10 haste converts to in GCD reduction pls tell it).

SP is kinda giving too much bang for the buck right now. It's increasing some spells/abilities by values of 2 times or more per point of spell power. Check out how power word shield or flash heal changes. The lowest I see is basically a 1 for 1 value.

So to sum it up, I don't think someone is gonna miss a kick on you because of less than a tenth of a second and I don't think less than a tenth of a second is gonna let you hit a key heal on someone. Having an extra 32 hp PWS that you are spamming or extra 32 point flash heal will help at least somewhat usefully.

As a druid I have HoT's out the ass with rejuv, swiftmend (aoe part), and regrowth.

Therefore haste makes the heals tick faster.
And makes spamming regrowth faster by a few fractions of a second, couldnt that mean the difference of life or death all resulting on a few shreds of a second? Or is that just too rare to matter?
 
Haste is viable. Although is alot nicer at 16 than 19. :)
