This is directly from a customer support memeber after I had recently opened a ticket about the Diabolical Plans not dropping. I had read that this quest was no longer obtainable and a few players were telling me that they had looted the item earlier in the day. It seems as of patch 5.0 the droprate has drastically went down. So for those of us who are looking to get the twink ring, good luck and happy farming those demons! lol

I understand people want to be understood and known for bringing forth some kind of answer to peoples woes. But seriously All these Threads complaining about it or trying to explain something is rather much. When I first read that horde was not getting the drop I actually thought, wow Now Ally has a item that horde would actually faction for to be "bis" and not always the other way around.

Funny how Alliance side Diabolical plans still usually drop within 15 kills.

And that's exactly what a GM told me about Tarantula silk sash, yet nobody has seen it drop after cata came out? I think the GMs just check things from wowhead because they're either stupid or lazy.
