pretty sure shadowfang hans't dropped since wotlk.

when the wow trial program went to F2P last year, there where 20's seen with them.

i asked a hunter who had one in a BG which boss and he said second one dropped it, and saw a ill geared warrior but yet had a SF, and he said last boss. i looked both up on the armory at the time and they did get them from drops
