So just got a new headpiece, wen't to the shatter sun quartermaster and guess what, she no longer sells the head enchant

Why on earth did they go out of their way to remove something like this?

All head enchants are removed/made gray quality and unusable.
But any already enchanted helmets keep their enchantments, and continue to work.

They removed all the head enchants at max lvl. To avoid people going back to old content to get old head enchants in MoP, they removed all head enchants in the game. They adjusted the tooltips and function of LW armor kits, ZG enchants and Librams to no longer include the head slot.
