New to f2p, what class to roll for 5.0.4?

Snack

Salty
So I have never been into the f2p bracket before, but since I won't be able to play that much, I cba to waste like 20$ each month for like 10 hours of gaming, so I have decided to try out f2p's! :)

The problem is I have no current knowledge of talents/spells/classes as of 5.0.4, and I would like some advice with my class.

What classes have been significantly changed?
What classes seems to be more OP now?
Have gearing options changed much?

And some general info, is one faction dominating?

I know it's pretty early in the patch, but any info would be nice :)

Thank you.

Holy paladins- very op
Hunters- reign is over
Rogue- try combat
Warlocks- demo is very good now
Warriors- deal good damage and can charge in combat now
Druid- cowardly bastards that run when lost 30c% health
Shamans- fine

I'll give you respect if you roll a non holy paly.

For rogue you want subtlety. Find weakness helps a lot when attacking pally FC's because it turns them from Mail users in to clothies.

Any of the classes are fun if you're into them, just be aware that right now, classes with healing spells have quite an advantage, and the main healing specs are hard to take down alone.

The beauty of f2p is that you can try out all the classes to see which suits your feel and style, because you can quickly level something to 20, and by then you;ll know which class you want to commit to and get to BiS gear.

Thanks for all the feedback, I might try out warrior, lock or druid! :)

Edit: What about faction balance? is one faction dominating? :)

And does the f2p forum here on TI have a armory thread?

Classes that have been significantly changed are hunters and mages. Mages can only do any real dmg with arcane and that's when you arcane spam to 6 stacks. Hunters cant do crap dmg without going MM and spamming aimed shot, but good luck killing anything with that.

More OP class would be Holy paladins, their holy shock. My Starsurge crits with eclipse almost do 700 dmg, holy shock crits will go over 700 dmg. Holy paladins got a major buff and are extremely overpowered and overplayed right now.

Gearing options haven't changed.

If you wanted general info about factions, horde waittime ques are about 1-3 minutes and alliance are anywhere from x3-x5 the wait time of hordes.

Thanks, do you have a armory thread / thread with all available items for f2p's here? As I mentioned I am completely new to f2p and got no clue how to gear :p
