Anatomy 1: 70 Twink PvP - YouTube

Hey guys, I'm Anatomy, and this is my first PvP movie. It contains clips from my 70 twinks in the XP-Off bracket. I'll be primarily playing my Mage, but you'll see some footage of my Disc Priest as well. The video will focus mainly on 3v3 Arena, but 2v2 is also included.

While twinking may not be everyone's thing, I assure you this is not your average twink video.

Included are games from my Rank 1 RMS 3v3 team with Drtranlol and Sudowoodox, as well as other matches as a variety of comps playing with and against some of the top players in the bracket. I tried my best to include games that were very even and showcase good play from both teams, not a bunch of easy wins.

The 70 bracket is extremely fast paced. When one mistake is the difference between you or your partners dying in seconds, you need to develop very quick reactions and constantly be looking out for your teammates. The pace of 70's is what I hope will make this video fun to watch even for non-twink players, and should prove as a nice change from the currently stale 85 bracket.

Due to the nature of twinking, something always “breaks” the bracket you play in. 70 Twinks have access to both the Tazik Shocker and Synapse Springs, both of which can increase a players burst damage by nearly double. However to combat this, myself and other players often play using “NAO Rules”, which are a set of rules put in place after our 70 TwinkRanking Tournaments a few months ago.

These rules ban the use of all tinkers, and also require players to wear a certain amount of Resilience to ensure that kills are landed with good play, not by globalling someone.

Almost all of the games you'll see are played with NAO Rules.

Tracklist:

Avicii - Levels (iNexus Remix)
MitiS - Parting
Stan SB - Dead (Long Clip)
Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso ft. Ryan Tedder - Calling
Wolfgang Gartner - Shrunken Heads
Martin Solveig - The Night Out (Madeon Remix)
Rameses B - New Horizons VIP

Everything included in this video was filmed in a span of roughly 3 weeks, with the majority in the last week of the season. All editing was my first time ever using any form of editing software. Don't expect extremely flashy editing scenes!

I really hope you enjoy watching my video as much as I enjoyed making it.

yeah i know, UI is a definite downside and I knew people would be commenting heavily on it.

would have been extremely hard to switch my UI around and get used to a new one / play as well as normal with only like two weeks left in the season.

I watched in 240p, I'm a rebel. I would comment on your ui, but there's no point because people have already said everything there is to say about it. @The top comment on youtube, the zoom distance is fine. It helps with situational awareness, and it's not so far out that you can't see what's happening.

Great editing, would say its a good watch, would have been better to watch if you were simply better, trinketing randomly, half the time into other cc or just blinking randomly, made me sigh... but regardless a good watch?

The UI was...woah o_O how do you play like that x) Then again some people ask the same about mine.
It's a shame this is US, there's just no competition there :S I see some of these teams with quite nice w/l, in bad gear with bad comp and think that just wouldn't happen on an EU BG (well some EU BGs are quite bad as well).

Also a runtime of 21 minutes :D People's attention span isn't half that long for WoW videos these days

If this was EU you'd be about 2k rating not 2.4k. It's good nevertheless.

1, great video, you put a lot of work into it i am sure!

2, apparently you are not nearly as skilled as i thought you were, you react pretty fast but that's about it. however, one needs more than just fast reaction to be an elite pvp player.

lol 2.4k US translates to 2k EU? I can only assume you're also one of the many idiote's who argue the US vs EU topic daily.

I'm well aware that this EU vs US argument at 85 is retarded. At 70 however it's blatantly obvious that US is somewhat of a joke :-/ We saw it in that tournament virtua uploaded to youtube a while back and you can see it in the high ranked 70 teams US.

I mean tbh the last tournament was awful because of summer vacation beginning for most people + the lack of teams that actually showed up. Ratings mean very little at 70, i'm sure everyone could agree on that. For that reason most people considered to be "top players" in the US team hop nearly every time q's are happening or just don't do arena at all and instead just q bgs/rbgs. Either way the US vs EU argument is retarded at both 85 and any other bracket.

nice i get back from work and thread has turned into a US vs EU war, how wonderful

ok i lol'd so hard at this tho, only post i'm going to respond to because the rest are just dumb.

first of all you're probably the biggest wintrader in the entire 70 bracket so i'm pretty sure that automatically DQs you from commenting on someones skill level when you have done nothing legit in this game to prove you're even remotely decent

second of all i don't "trinket randomly into another cc" or "blink randomly" throughout the entire video, and if you think that you obviously weren't paying enough attention. every defensive CD has a reason behind it, perhaps if you actually played the game instead of wintrading you would understand this and recognize why i do things at the times that i do.

sorry to be so aggressive but honestly, please think before you post...

90% of the video was filmed from tuesday to friday queueing for 2-4 hours per day wargaming anyone who was willing, so pretty much all of this is just my average play. you can't expect super spectacular clips with so little time played, not to mention the fact that a lot of the time i was queueing against other good US players who won't just allow me to do whatever i want to them. i could have easily queued normal arena and smashed awful teams for hours but i decided to play against other good people but apparently that was a bad move
