Gimme gimme moar....rogue

I wouldnt do that. TI is just different. I wouldnt give up like that. We can have some really good stuff, but once something gets off topic, it can get blown up. Keep trying. It will get better.
Give people a chance around here, and people need to give you a chance. I know for one, youakim is a really cool dude, I think that his post could have been read wrong.

ps. why does TI like cut out my words randomly while im typing? no other website does this.

His post aren't read wrong. They come with an air of arrogance and derision that isn't helpful or positive.

Combat and assassination will be the 2 best classes for rogues, did a lot of testing on ptr. Combat gives a real big burst and assassination gives little bursts, but imo I think combat is best because you can hit another target, so if you hit 1k eviscerate on one target it does 1k to the other. Also with the 30% base dodge, and the fact that you can dodge arrows and spells now, I think they are still very viable. Making a goblin combat rogue tomorrow too :p

Sap/Kick/Crip bots will still be useful as long as they don't try to do anything stupid like kill anyone. Hunters will still be useful for the herpy derpy CC they bring. Someone has to keep those holy paladins off the balance druids.
Actually, bal has lost a lot of its dmg over the beta, i think feral may be better now(imho)

I agree, but the chances of you hitting a evis crit are LOW, compared to ferals 43% chance on FB crits
And dont forget to reduce all numbers by 60% to account for resil+armor
I did math out a 1.6K dmg in 1 GCD as feral(WITH 60% resil), it was a FB crit, but FB gets a free 25% chance on bleding targs

Still even without a crit a 5 combo point eviscerate with a revealing strike is still pretty high damage, and I was doing about 400 non crits and 900 crits, 2.5k on dummies :p

EDIT: I was doing these crits on a undergeared lvl 20 rogue using 2 stinging vipers against a full geared rogue, so you can probably pump out higher dmg witha full BiS combat rogue.

Combat may still be viable, at least rogues are not getting as nerfed as locks

The thing about combat is that once you get on anything with a higher armor level the damage falls way behind sub.

With resil, armor hits no more the 20%(for a 60% reduction( i do all my grogue/feral math accounting for 60% from armor+resil)
Armor stacks multiplicativly(not certain how it works atm) But 20% armor and 40% resil is about 47% reduction

Subs bonus will not be worth it enough, because it does not have a effect on the 1st ambush, and getting a 5P evis in 10 sec will be hard, you would need to restealth to get a effect(Shadowmeld only option)

If sub's bonus does afect the 1st ambush from stealth, im in
Combat/sub look close, but 2x ambushes/2X evis's look nice

I always plan to use nightstalker

Subterfuge with combat is way better than nightstalker, u can get 4 points easily with 2 ambushes, then a revealing strike is ur 5th and then you just eviscerate. Also you can ambush then kick a healer if they start casting a heal on themselves after the ambush, and they probably won't try and fake if they cant see you.

It may be, but i prefer the 25% movespeed in stealth as NE
