world PVP has suffered die to many things:
- level-85 guards spawning near anywhere there is a quest for opposing faction. i remember level -19 twink guilds doing raids on sentinel hill, one spawning 85+ will wipe them in a second
- blizz's PVP balance focus primarily only occurs in BG's and related areas like WG/TB, the nerfs on healing, and etc BG buffs are gone outside of BGs. just the other day on my server, 5 alliance healers went to ORG to clown around, 20+ players couldn't kill them. people were complaining in trade, they needed help someone asked what are they, response were basiclly good luck, not gonna kill them, etc.
- biggest one implimentation of hit in PVP....yes hit.. example years ago if you had a level 60 ganking players in STV that are level 33-39 he could easily kill them one 2 at a time, however if a 34, 38, 36, 39 grouped up they could kill the 60 because their attacks....hit. if this scenario occurred now, all they would see it miss, miss, dodge, parry, miss
CRZ has helped world PVP somewhat due to adding players to contested areas. i take it you are a horde level 10? wanting to gank alliance, imo duskwood would not really work because players due to hit will be way to high above your level especially if you aggro road patrolling guards and mobs. i would go to redridge mountains
