Banning Users From Threads -- New Way To Stop Flamefests!

There is a addon on vBulletin.org that I have been watching go through the beta stages and it finally looks to have all of the bugs worked out.

Each person when I click their name in a thread where I can ban them from the thread. I have seen a lot of instances where this can be extremely helpful in getting a thread back on track and not having to lock it.

Keep your eyes on this forum and there are a lot of changes coming up!

great idea! it can also prevent users from getting themselves deep in infractions

That feature is coming soon.

We are moving away from the Likes system and moving to a Thumbs Up/Down system. I will be migrating to the new system in the coming days. All of your current likes given/received will be brought over.

What's interesting to note is that when you go to a user's profile and go to the tab that show their likes, it's called "Post likes/dislikes" despite the fact that we don't have dislikes implemented at this time. :O
 
This is an awesome feature! Much better than locking a thread and ruining it for everyone else.

I am having to code a script on my own to import the current likes system into the thumbs up/down system as the author does not provide support for the current mod we are using.

So, it will probably be a couple of days based upon how much time I have available.
