  • I've decided to join the bracket!! Now what class should i make?? Making a hunter is already off the list. Maybe a mage? Any suggestions guys. I wouldn't mind something that this bracket needs more of.

Why is hunter off the list?

Are you saying 39 hunters are overplayed in this bracket from personal experience or are you saying that as a guess?

39 hunters are unpopular due to the fact that almost every class can match it. However Hunters are incredibly desirable since they have flare(which keeps rogues locked out @choke). If you manage to get 1 hunter and 1 enhancement shaman with 2 healers, you're looking at an easy win.

When you combine a Disc Priest(AoE fear + Heals) + Hunter(ranged DPS + Flare) + Enhancement Shaman(Melee DPS + Magma/Earthbind Totem) @ a choke point, it can be hard to breathe for the other team.

Contemplating a holy/ret pally, ele/resto shaman, or a mage. Also, What class has the most dominant heals in this bracket?

Holy Paladin = Disc Priest > Holy Priest ≥ Rshaman > Rdruid

That's kinda how i thought the ranking would play out. Leaning towards a mage tho. Are there too many??

Oh, and which faction needs more members, Horde or Alli?

I can't say which faction needs more help. You'll want to ask on the World of Warcraft Forums.

There was a period of time where mages were very over played. I'd like to call it the Parexian-Era. Everyone tried to play/gear as a Fire Mage; just like Parexian did. But when he stopped playing, other fire mages stopped playing. Then the Roguenine-Era started, everyone wanted to be a rogue; so everyone stopped playing because too many rogues.

Play whatever you want, just don't be a douche.

I'd advise against a rogue. It's been a while since I've seen a BG pop but the few I've been in have been PACKED with rogues. Shaman is a good choice no matter which spec, it isnt overplayed/overpowered and all specs are viable. Mages are also very strong if you can play them right. Warlocks are still a little gimped like in other brackets, can't say I've seen many druids either. Most popular classes are definitely Hunters, Paladins, and Rogues, much like other brackets; however, skill can always beat a clutch class ;)

^Hunters are not popular in this bracket.

I completely understand how irritating it can be for there to be mass numbers of hunters in a BG but its far worse than to have no hunters on your team. You absolutely want at least 1 hunter on your team(on D with FC).

Don't be persuaded to be against making a hunter, honestly there are only a small handful of active hunters in this bracket. People forget that 1 Hunter is the game-breaking point that will keep your Flag Carrier from getting 1 shotted with 10 stacks of flag debuff. Rogues can bring down most geared twinks to about 80-90% of their life in 2 shots, imagine how easy it would be for them to do that to a Flag Carrier with 10 stacks of the Flag Debuff.

I am completely against running with/against an army of hunters, but it's a complete nightmare(and far worse) to have to fight even just 1 rogue without a hunter on D with your Flag Carrier.

TL;DR - Don't make a hunter....but thaaaaan again you don't want to be the team without one either. A Hunter's Flare is all you need to keep your flag carrier alive.

    chardev 9

Something like that. Keep in mind chardev is bugged and doesnt show the 150 hp enchant on your chest.

It's pretty glass cannony, but it's the most effective way. There's a few things you can sacrifice tog et more stam but less crit/int-
    Neck - Triune Amulet
    legs - necromancers leggings
    rings - Underworld Band(s)
trinket- Arena Grandmaster, Heart of Noxxion. If non-human pvp trinket
Change glove enchant to 15 hit, feet enchant to 12 stam
    etc
