Stat question for 10-14 rogue.

Hello,

I currently have a level 10 rogue. Aside from the STV trinket and the horde quest ring, I am possibly BIS, maybe missing some other items I haven't come across.

My question is, how much will I gain/lose by leveling to 14? I know the stats scale better at 10, but is it enough to want to stay 10 and not go to 14? This question is specifically for rogue as I realize some classes do better at 10 and some do better at 14.

Also, are there stat weights available? I would like to know Agi vs Crit vs Haste vs Stam vs Resil. Basically, at what point is x amount of Crit better than x Agility etc. etc.

Thanks for your help.

Resilience goes down the shitter when you level to 14. Crit also goes down the shitter.

At 14, you get recuperate, I believe you get kick as well. You get 3 talent points instead of 1. You'll probably gain about 100-200 hp more from leveling if you are wearing BoAs.

You didn't mention if you had GF'd gear, a link to your 10 rogue would be nice. :)

Sorry.

No, I do not have any GF'd gear, I only recently got into twinking about a month ago.

I am missing some things I know (and I know my glove enchant isn't the best but I have been lazy and not ran to the mailbox to get the scroll).

I should also mention what I am doing with this character. I am not farming HKs or wins (I have a geared 10 priest doing). I am simply grinding the "defend 50 flags" achievement, since it is easier than doing it on my main. Therefore, I spend most of my time stealthed, wait for 1-2 horde to cap a flag, ambush and defend. I don't try get into many fights, and I only strike when I know I can kill quickly, defend flag and re-stealth.

The reason I am asking about the stats is this: Item Comparison Tool - World of Warcraft

It is basically 1 agi vs 1 sta vs 2 crit. I am of going for the thrown weapon simply because it is .5 seconds vs a long cast time of a bow/gun. But if it were down to stats, what scale should I measure all the stats against? I'm looking for something like:

Agi = 1
Crit = .90
Haste = .70
Resil = .70
Hit = .70
Stam = .50
(just an example)

Thanks for all the help!

Wow. Your rogue has 85% crit. o_O Let's just say that would go down and fluctuate between 20-30% if you went 14 probably. I had a 14 hunter for a bit, but I have leveled him to 24. He had around 20-30% crit, I had 225 skinning/herb though. Just stay 10, you should have more fun with scaling. =D 14 isn't as fun, because you can faceroll people.

As for improvements of your rogue, I would say +15 agi to gloves, your belt can be a 2/1 agi/stam or stam/agi instead of your 1/1 agi/stam. Slayers band, as you mentioned, only if you want to faction change. Also, you do not need +5 hit to boots, as you should be hit capped with 6 with the BoAs, cap gives 2, tunic gives 4 I believe. I would do +7 agi for more crit. ^_^

My lvl 10 rogue is Nikklaus. He is on Moon Guard. Nikklaus @ Moon Guard - Game Guide - World of Warcraft He is my least used 10 twink though, haven't spent much time on him. My pride and joy is my 10 priest. :D located in my sig. Your rogue looks great, I would stay 10, honestly. The scaling is just too much to pass up!

Btw, I love your transmog. =D

Not bad, OP. Feel free to look at my rogue for different ideas if you want.
I have a item or 2 of GF'd gear, for example the trouser enchant. I get no benefit from it. Just refuse to switch a chant like that for +16 armor kit.

Thanks to both of you for the help :)

The reason I brought it up is because I accidentally got very, very close to level 11. I believe I need 10 xp to ding. With me being 1 mob kill away from leveling, I was just curious how devastated I'd be.

You would be more devastated if you purposely leveled to 14 and you were 10 exp away. Then you would have to level out of the bracket. =P

I accidentally did it about a day after posting this. I wasn't paying attention that my XP was on and I hopped on a friend's mount to go down to the STV arena. Discovered some part of Westfall and heard the ding sound. I couldn't believe it. After this I just went ahead and dinged 14.

On a positive note, it opened up some cool transmog possibilities for me.
