you can play it for 10 days every 3 months on the free re-tries.

*summon your f2p for exploration stuff
*buy pets/mounts with your main to get shared with your f2p

if anything, this account-wide achievement stuff will create a market for dead mains.

10 day Cata Trial

Also, you can read in the SoR FAQ (which is currently offline) that you can only do it once. Note the differences betwen "SOR2" and "Scroll of Resurrection" from previous years. Also, the current SoR gives you a free Cat level upgrade and a free faction change and server transfer OR a free level 80, but not both.

They will probably implement some kind of MP trial at some point too.
