Retrieved an old Trial Account!

So I just managed to get an old Trial Account back that was created about 6 years ago..

I got some worthless grandfathered stuff on it such as Staff of Conjuring - Item - World of Warcraft (Still BoE) and Taskmaster Axe - Item - World of Warcraft, also Noble's Robe - Item - World of Warcraft, no idea if its still obtainable, since wowhead doesn't give me a source.

So, quite a disappointment for what I was hoping to see, there is one funny thing, though.. I'm in a guild. Lewl.. and I can chat in guildchat. But I can't come up with any advantage that could give me.

Anyway, its a level 20 Human Paladin. I queue'd myself up for Warsong Gulch, average waiting time was 14 minutes. Should I roll Horde instead for better queue times?

Hmm.. I can access the guild vendor. That's.. interesting !

If you have access to the guild bank you can get people to put in high level enchanting scrolls as well as higher level consumables like BS stones etc. Swiftness potion. Anything on AH. BoEs etc. You might even be able to use it to deposit items and trade.

Unfortunately, the guild seems dead. I can't access the guildbank because I apparently don't have the rank for it. But I haven't done any research at all yet. I can't even see the guildlist because the button states its unavailable for Trial Accounts.

I can try to get in charge of the guild on my real account, and from a main character I can then provide my F2P with anything he'd need. But I need to come up with something first.. I'm sure I can make it work somehow.

Well, for now, it's an interesting novelty if nothing else. The axe might be useful for looks, and that's about it. If you do manage to have access to the GB, you can make yourself the most OP free account in the game. Everything from the guild vendor is over priced, so no use to you.

Hm, good point. The weird thing is, when I look up my Paladin on the armory, it doesn't say its in a guild. When I actually click my Paladin and go to his own armory page, the guildname is right next to him. When I click it, I get an error that says page not found.

I think the guild has been inactive for too long or something?

But yeah, I'm clearly in it. I can speak, and I have a reputation bar for it.

It would be great if you could get someone from your real account to take over the guild. Then you could use the GB.
