How does one disprove religion, which is a question of faith, with science?
perhaps not all religions are disproved by science (an ancient religion would have to be incredibly vague to not have a lot of scientific proof graveling its creation history) but the "evidence" isnt conclusive enough to convince everyone towards one side of the issue
from a more philosophical pov, if we're only considering the general idea of a supernal deity, science would be unable to confute the concept, since science is limited to the confines of the natural universe
hey, im not saying religion is solely bad, just that in my personal opinion its been causing more chaos than hope lately, ppl these days interpret the bible literally lol
just believe in what u want lol, you cant prove god exists, but you cant prove he doesn't exist either
i can understand that faithful people feel a comfort in their faith, but for me it's just a waste of time. life is too short to rely my life on "fictional" higher beings
you may say atheists are living for nothing. everything's pointless if you don't have hope and believe in god, but i just cant be religious anymore, its more of something i did when i was younger. logic thinking disproves religion for me
even though im an atheist i still celebrate christmas, easter and such. we r all just visitors on this planet for a limited amount of time, and celebrating religious traditions is how u can make use of your time in a pleasant way
