Magician's Mantle for a 24 Hunter?

Is MM for a 24 hunter BiS? Because I was just running randoms on my 22 hunter i was going to level to 85. And of course a magician's mantle drops and i win the roll. I've been farming it on my paladin for a month. And I rolled a tear when i looted it on my hunter.

Even for FCs, you should be using Prized Beastmaster's Mantle, it shouldn't be used in any hunter set for competitive use.

This is probably a stupid question, and I'm new to Cata. But why is it BoE, if it is soulbound to you as soon as you get it?

You probably rolled need on it then........................was your group yelling at you?

If you roll need on a BOE, it becomes soulbound to you, to prevent ninja's from doing what you did.

LOL similar story from me.
I had a 19 rogue twink and of course I was farming Shadowfang. Went thru SFK maybe 250 times and it NEVER dropped. I started to level my paladin to 24 to twink him there. As I was leveling to 24 and I was doing SFK because you always get it between the lvls of 18-20, I think I did SFK twice and what do you it dropped!
