What castor class to make?

    • Hi i am new to the 70 bracket and was wandering, out of the classes of warlock, priest and mage, what are the disadvantages of these classes in the 70 bracket and advantages with damage and survivability etc. Also what the class is most viable for arena's or BG's?
     
    If you want to be an op healer- Priest
    If you want to be an op dps - Mage
    If you want to play a skillful class to play against ^, - lock
     
    Just out of curiosity, how active is the 70 bracket atm? I would love to come back and play with my rogue again, but are the ques a bit decent again at night:)?

    I am currently experiencing an increased activity on AD Horde in the guild that i'm leading. We'll probably be up and running with many weekly events within a matter of weeks if not days.
    AD Alliance also seems to become active in a near future (according to guild leader Shinela)

    30mins - ??? que time for bgs on eu. - Woud assume its similar on US.
     
    i have seen disc/holy priests top dmg and healing charts in BGs along with least deaths, shadow priests can top dmg also and be in top 4 healing.

    mages are not as prevelant or OP in BGs as there were prior to MOP along with patch's 5.3 and 5.4 made it worse for them with scaling and nerfs to absorbtion which affected mages more than priests

    due to resilience not working in MOP and severe burst, unless you are rolling with guildees and sufficient heals it is really hard to roll a mage, warlock, and hunter into random pug BGs

    in US 70 randoms usually start rolling right about now, surprising games pop around noon and go into the evening fading prior to midnite. mondays and tuesdays at times have more activity that weekends most of the time. 70's overall don't really play set times, so que times can swing wildly from 7-15 minutes, to 18 to 45+ min

    If you want an op caster just roll mage all you have to do at 70 mage is pop all cool downs and everything dies its retarted the damage they put out in a matter of seconds along with having the most cc of every class in the bracket. But if you want to play something not scummy and op like a mage id suggest warlock like said above. destro is viable from my experience running spreist warlock comps.

    in regular random BGs i have yet to see, rogues, prot pals, hunters, warriors, etc. using resistance gems or stacking it
