Battleworn Thrash trash?

Hmm, from what i see this thing is HORRIBLE on my troll warr...the ctc barely procs, maybe once per fight i notice

why does it even exist in the game?The regular thrash blade from maraudon was alright(its the same thing as boa, but it was quite crap as well compared to some other classic weps)

Imo, battleaxe of horde+smite's reaver/razors edge(i can even keep them mogged to match each other) +No hit chance/str/stam bonuses as well.....idk , why does blizzard sometimes put useless items in-game?

Idk, i refunded mine and got stockade shoulders...

This is not a fury/DW weapon it's a tank weapon, the only thing standing between BWTB and Prot Warrior BIS is it's just not slow enough, so it doesn't proc enough to make it worth the stat-loss.

If this weapon was slower, it would be Prot Warrior BiS because it doesn't just give you an extra swing, it basically give you double damage, if you get a 270 heroic strike crit when you proc, you'll do an additional 270 damage on the BWTB proc.

I know all this because I took an interest in it the other day and started some research. All of the theory crafting are in the items comments on wowhead.com. It's really a shame that Blizzard didn't keep the original speed on this weapon.

yeh, it was doing pretty bad, and after the bg i refunded it for my points.


Does it matter if the blade is in offhand or onhand to give it a proc?And,if i keep 2 of them, can i get ,say a proc after proc of the extra attack from the random chance?(idk, might seem like a vague question, having quite trouble to express it since english isnt my first lang)

Main hand always returns more consistent procs, even if it didn't you still do more mainhand damage so it's ideal for procs that duplicate damage done, that's why this would make a better tank weapon than anything if it had the correct speed.

The item is unique so you can't equip 2 of them.

I was always curious about this wep too I got one, i never use it just bought with excess honor. I also wonder why no Feral Wep at pvp vendor. Deep Thoughts.

Grand Staff of Jordan - Item - World of Warcraft
Is for both casters and feral druids. Spellpower on weapons doesn't count as a stat, so the stamina, hit and resil is as high as it would be if it was a feral only staff. So basically ferals actually got a boosted weapon.

Really?!0.0 Never knew that. It always suprises me how few i know after all the time I've played. I think I'll just focus on awnsering questions about classes I have played abit more of from now.

I almost made a thread exactly like this questioning the viability of it as a MH wep for fury, over the BSR, which it unfortunately isn't because of the fast attack speed and lack of stats. If it had primary stats OR a slower attack speed I believe it would work pretty well.

This is pretty much a level one twink item for pallies, warriors, and rogues to be honest.

This item has no advantages for other twinks, or leveling, other than resil, and the chance you could get two crits in a row. This item is godly, though, like I said, for level one twinks. Sometimes, a level 5, or 10 twink MAY use this.

no, you cant argue that a feral should hitcap 5%. i love you but that comment was just silly.


and BWTB is pretty garbage, was good back in the day when procs made a huge difference in fights, but nowadays its just not worth it. the BoA tanking sword is a much better choice for just about any spec for warrior

This weapon hasn't been good since rogues used it with shadowfang in 19 bracket with double fiery enchants in combat spec. It's bad now
