Question about horde fence jump

what races are able to do this with and without minor speed (+8% speed boost)

is there any particular technique to it?

Ahhh the fence jump. She is a wiley mistress indeed. Few have conquered her, but when they do, they sit on top of her proudly.

Some choose to run head on and smash the space bar with their heads to conquer this jump (tauren and ppl with growth potions or bearform druids, maybe nelfs), others need to jump and angle themselves just right kinda near the fern on the other side and glide over (basically everyone else).

Good luck. You'll need it. I also do it in my videos like 500 times if u wanna know how to do it.

I can do it with ease with travel/bear form and tauren but have yet to do it unaided as a BE or any other race

You just gotta angle it right with your mouse while facing the same direction and you should be fine. Hope this helps! :eek:
 
I can't even do this jump anymore, ever since that wall DC thing was implemented, I DC doing this jump with an almost 100% success rate, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

we were about 10 EU players who asked gms about it, and they told us that it was a camera angle problem, and that you should try to play with "zooming in" or altering your camera settings before you jump.
 
Works everytime as tauren, and in bear/travel/cat form (as tauren). On my other chars, undead, belf etc. It usually takes some tries. Though I think I have seen Chill doing this jump several times.. might just be a matter of practicing..

I struggle to do it as a female belf, have to angle myself to the left and get super lucky. And even then, if I succeed, it will usually auto-DC me.
 
As a male Blood Elf it is quite easy. I just simply run at an angle to the right. I have never DC'd doing the horde fence jump.
 
I heard that if your ms is at or above 75 than you will be at a higher chance to dc also.
 
I used to do it on the first or second try every time with easy, but since the changes I have struggled to make the jump the few times I have tried. Maybe its because I haven't been very active and tried it in awhile, but nevertheless I'll practice the jump when I can.
 
DC's more with certain character models, like on my male nelf dc's like 75% at least. Being a tauren makes the jump very easy btw.

You know on my male nelf I have only ever DCd jumping from bottom -> top of horde tunnel. You must be really bad at jumps mesi xDD

Tha fuck ._. I once dced 3 times in a row trying to do the fence jump on my nelf :D Figured it might not be worth it...
 
I can't do it on my blood elf female characters. Is there a video recently showing exactly how to do it? I'm not even 100% sure where to jump or which way to face.
 
i can do it on BE, but have yet to do it on a goblin... I can't even to any TB Hunter Rise jumps on a goblin... they suck at jumps
 
I dont think Ive ever seen this. What fence jump? Anyone got a link to a current video or a screenshot of it?
