Lightforge BoA into Herod's BoA.

Ok, i've seen many a Pala conmplete this transmog. At lvl 19, both items are mail yet it's not letting me do it. And at higher levels, the Lightforge turn into Plate so it's not letting me do it then either. Am I missing out something obvious?

You can only transmog plate BoA into the other version of plate BoA (e.g Might shoulders into Lightforge and vise versa) because for transmogging purposes, it is only considered plate, not mail. If you're talking about transmogging the example I gave (BoA tank shoulders to BoA holy pally shoulders or vise versa) you need a high level character that can use plate, then it'll work fine, but its buggy when you mail and you may need to repeat it a couple of times for it to stick.

This brings up a question I've had for a long time now...

I've been trying to transmogrify Awesome's [Champion Herod's Shoulder] into a [Prized Beastmaster's Mantle]. According to the transmog rules, this should be able to work, as they are most definitely the same type of gear. However, whenever I try to press "Accept," I get an error message.

All I can do is either stand back and cry because Awesome looks stupid in that shoulder piece, or ask a <GM>. And <GM>s don't like me, nor I them.

Anyone able to clear this up for me?

You can't do it on a 19 because it counts the one you're wearing and the one you want to mog it into as mail.

Try to do it on a level 40+ and mail it over until it sticks.
