How do I change to Aerie Peak?

Hey guys
anyway I was just wondering how I change to the Aerie Peak server, Right now im on Khaz Goroth.

Is it possible? Does it cost money? If so how much? Im guessing I would have to level cap myself the minute I bought wow membership so I don't surpass the trial account level limit (20)

It is not possible for a F2P character to switch servers.

If you decide to upgrade to a Paid account, keep in mind it will be paid FOREVER. and you will have to keep paying subscription fee every month to play on Aerie Peak.

The only real option would be to roll a fresh new toon, Lv1 on Aerie Peak and gear up all over again.

Assuming you don't just want to make a new character, but want to maintain F2P and want to play that particular character, then you upgrade your account, get someone to recruit you as a friend so they get a free month. Once you account is upgraded, you just pay for a server transfer. You can't go back to being a free account once you've done this though.

O ok, so a server switch means im paying forever, even if I cap myself to 20 and stay within the trial acc gear/enchant limits ect.

i might just make a druid hordie on AP, but atm im farming new gear just to prepare for my new specs when mists of pandaria comes out

according to iaccidentlytwink, there might be a possible way for f2p's to server transfer but he's not disclosing that information until it's been tested

Its just that I love my toon so much, and I love aerie peak so much, but they cant be together ... , on some romeo and juliet shit but yeh if anything new happens be sure to let me know

It's only possible with free transfers. Blizz will not take your money unless you upgrade your account. Blizz did offer transfers off AP a while back, but not to it.

Do you know if free transfers ever allow you to pick your faction on the destination server? I could easily roll up to 20 and grab skillpatch/ello's/aluwyn/argas in a day, and then transfer to a destination server. I could definitely see getting a lot of people to do this at once.

No, you don't get to choose. A few months back Blizz offered transfers from a lot of realms to the new South American ones. AP was one of the realms. It was only for a few days. The only free faction change is from the SoR, but that's only for paid accounts.
