so are there any notable benefits to tailoring? i have a 70 lock and soon i will have cash to lvl my proffessions

so im thinking of jc/bs, but i was wondering what tailoring would give me

thanks!

400ap for 15s, 295spell for 15s or a chance to gain 400 mana
they usually proc almost instant (all 50% after icd is over afaik) and have a 45s icd, but you can only enchant your cloak either with an enchant or a tailoring embroidery.
+ those nets to root people in place, dunno if they still work in rbg (they did in s9)

oh and here the specific embroidery spells
Swordguard Embroidery - Spell - World of Warcraft
Lightweave Embroidery - Spell - World of Warcraft
Darkglow Embroidery - Spell - World of Warcraft

i have tailoring on my hunter and had it back when it was a 70s character, it usually procs really after your first or second shot :)

hmm, doesnt seem that great, sure its 295 SP but i dont think an aff lock really needs alot of SP

alright ill just stick with jc/bs

would recommend to drop black smithing for engineering, if you get synapse you have the (by far) best enchant, from a +dmg perspective (its a cataclysm enchant, obviously by far the best as you are only able to obtain wotlk stuff with the other professions, 480 int for 10s on 60s cd, 1/6 uptime, 80 int - double the benefit of any other profession)
+tazik (which is always a point :p) + lulzy stuff to play around (boots, mc, parachute, portals, jeeves, mount, grenades). <3 engineering, even without synapse/tazik

i might infact go engineering, because the current prices of ore on our server is pretty low

Tailoring always was better for PvE, the problem lies with the cloak enchant in PvP.

For casters most want to use 35 Spell Penetration to cloak and have to forego the cloak enchant. Or use the cloak enchant and have to gem/gear the spell pen and hence lose some stats in the process. But with MoP and spell pen being removed it should be easier to use the Embroidery in PvP too (unless other cloak enchants or the PvP Power enchant will be that awesome).

Without doubt get Engineering and then go Tailoring if you do a fair bit of PvP, and definitely if you do some PvE as well. Plus the nets are awesome as caster, especially so for locks who are weak with melee sat on them.

all my lvl 70 chars have tailoring, amazing proc for a ret or feral from the cloak (ret and war are gonna like it much more since 22 agi or 23 haste is almost useless for em)
also as a holy paly or resto druid (no cyclone - fuck it all) we dont need spell pen. mana proc from the cloak + mana proc from the meta = profit.
as a warlock id go for bs/jc for real
eng? tazik or synaps? gay? rng? no good trinket? rocket?
bs/jc or jc tailoring

Spell Pen is useless for a Resto Druid... well you are right come MoP I guess.

Eng...Synapse/Tazik?... How about a Lay on Hands every 1 minute, good, no?
