Level 10 Warlock comes to town!

Hey all, I haven't been too active in the twinking community lately, but decided to give it another go. So I created a level 10Gnome Affliction Warlock, which I am designing to be a Haste+Crit Glass Cannon.

As Warlocks are under-represented in this bracket, atleast from my past experiences from 10-14, I thought it would be fairly interesting to to try it out, maybe get a few more people interested, and just have a good time putting pressure on the Horde. xD

Who else here plays an active warlock in the 10-14 community? I am not BiS yet, but from what I can see, Warlocks are fairly powerful if pulled off correctly. I could use a few tips and shizzle.

Also... Mouse turning, or Keyboard turning, for a warlock? I usually mouse turn on melee, and keyboard turn on casters, but what do you think would work?

(When I keyboard turn, I use WASD to move, and my numberpad on the right to cast abilities (Numpad 0-9 for the bottom main left bar, then left CTRL+Numpad 1-9 on the left actionbar above the main one. On the right bottom one, I use the number-strip on the top of the keyboard, mainly for buffs.)

(When I mouse turn, I use (CXZS as my spells, CTRL+CXZS for my other spells, and the top number strip for buffs that I click. Basically, in my opinion, when I mouseturn, C is the most accessable, followed by X, Z, and then S.)

Sorry if I confused any of you... But what is better for my keybinds? Mouse turning or Keyboard turning?

It's rare that someone plays a Warlock in this bracket, from what I know of we only have a dozen or so. In my opinion tho going as a Haste Crit Glass Cannon hybrid would provide you with little health. Warlocks can't kite that much in this bracket with any slows or anything so it's somewhat important to have a bit of health is what I learned when I played mine.

Yea Mumferd, if you die from a 10 lock, you really need to find a new tactic

Hmm,, its a worry that he is beating you life draining, as it is low dps, and doesnt return a whole heap to the lock. I could understand if it was a few lucky crits along with a conflag which crits for 600 or something but not lifedrain, maybe have a chat to ioerror.

Also you MUST max your professions, they are the key to this bracket. Forget AGM, gear, everything else. I would lean towards dump mining for herbing as lifebloom is insanely OP at L10 and max that out with skinning. When that lock hits lifebloom he will be casting at about 175% haste, with a high crit from skinning, and you wanna be able to do the same.
