just get rid of the double healer ban, it makes no sense. if you're worried about people not dying fast enough, don't let them equip AGMs. the only things that should be banned are things that are outright broken, like resistance gear and hunters. you can't balance things by creating new imbalances.

edit: almost forgot about the ban on 3 dps teams too....since that's apparently still actually banned

I'm glad you agree with me! You see, in the midst of season 7, MLG told Blizzard that it would not longer officially sponsor WoW as a true MLG gaming event due to the imbalances in the game. It proposed that certain classes be elimiated entirely from the tournament (or certain compilations of these classes EG: Beastcleave, ATC). That's exactly the point here. DPS paladins in this bracket are completely ridiculous in arena settings. DPS paladins have more healing throughput then most of the healers, have fantastic utility and great damage. There's literally no difference between a prot paladin, a ret paladin and a hunter in arena in this bracket.Also, I like how no one has argued with my logic. IF you are playing with a prot paladin, it's basically to get around the double healer rule. Time and time again this has been proven with EVERY prot arena set up. If you play prot as an offensive tool only your team will lose badly every time. This forces you to play a double healer setup with the prot paladin acting as a second healer with more utility.

Keeshan's is OP, but how come I have to go gnome only for the arcane resist against all teh mages when Belfs get the resist, plus an OP silence? :/ Don't ban keeshans imo

Lots of things are unbalanced. 3 Blood elfs, keeshans banda, 3x casters, AGM

Were thinking about going resto sham rogue prot, those 2 are the players Iv basically done arena with, ever (only 2s, and like 4 games max in 3s) and honestly its gonna be owned by priest mage warlock. We tried to get a decent lock to play with us, no luck so far.

TBH I think dubble healer should be alowed. Its not going to beat every comp, not by a long shot, Belf Priest mage lock should kill everything, worry about that if anything

I would, but I don't this bracket lends itself to tournaments (yet) and there doesn't seem to be enough interest. If we had more people willing to play I'd be interested in trying to craft this.

i think that you are vastly overestimating how seriously we are taking this.....we talk about this stuff in skype a lot more than we talk about it here. we all agree on almost everything as far as pvp balance in this bracket goes. riot's comments about paladins in this bracket being as overpowered as hunters are pretty far off, though

I enjoy selective reading on occasion as well. I said prot paladins are just as overpowered as hunters when it comes to arena. We all know you agree to this because you agreed to face any hunter team in any 2s or 3s match with Golden/Biggie (and you even faced Biggie). Clearly this means hunters don't have nearly as large an advantage as you make them out to have ( IN ARENA). That being said, I think hunters are, obviously, far more overpowered than most other classes in this game. I'd still rather play a hunter team knowing I can control the hunter, global the pet, or play around his/her focus bar then face a double healer team that uses a prot paladin. In a bracket that's all about burst, having the ability to nullify burst with two healer or defensive CD's is king.

please don't make stuff up when you're using information mediums that record past conversation....it's just annoying and a waste of time to have to go back and copy/paste stuff like this. obviously hunters are way, way more overpowered than paladins in 20 arenas. so don't say that they are the same.

I'm confused. You just quoted me twice saying the exact same thing both times. Are you trying to be thick intentionally? There is zero difference. Hunters have a lot of burst initially, but you can easily drop their pet and play around their focus. I'm confused why I have to repeat the same thing three times for you to get it. You aren't responding to anything I say. You're just repeating your mantra of "hunters are overpowered." We get it. You think hunters are overpowered. You also no longer play in this bracket at all. Why do you post here still?

no. hunters are way more overpowered than paladins in 20 arena. i don't even know where you're getting the idea that they are even remotely near each other in terms of overpowered. if you want, we can play a bunch of arenas with a hunter who actually knows how to play.

you cannot easily drop their pet. you cannot "play around their focus". you can only do these things against people who are noobs, and i've even lost plenty of 20 arenas against hunters who were, in fact, noobs, but still used whatever key they have explosive shot bound to and destroyed us. not even counting all of their crowd control, the fact that they have more HP than everyone else, and the fact that they can kill you in 2 globals from 40 yards (without any of their teammates even doing anything).

paladins aren't even overpowered in 20 arenas. i don't know where this even came from. did people just get globaled by a ret paladin a few times and get super angry about it? pallies are so ridiculously easy to CC at this level. just because something is easy to play does not mean it is overpowered. dying almost instantly from 40 yards with nothing you can do about it - now that's overpowered.

For real though the major differences between paladins and hunters are that hunters can kill you from 40 yards away in like 2-3 globals and paladins are super easy to CC... Like idk how tough you guys think it is to beat a ret paladin but if you cc him his team dies...

ret hit like a truck but hunters hit like a 1megaton bomb, hunter that patiently waits to dump focus starting from 100 and carefully making sure to use all ccs in perfect order will not even give a pally time to cast a heal...just bubble and spam that FoL and pray you have someone who can cc hunter. Worst case scenario its a BM hunter with a moth pet thats 3x interrupts,one been a silence. Hunter should not even have to kite in this scenario. Also trying to nullify dmg will be only prolonging a lose as a hunter will just wait for focus to get up to 100 while kiting you to get time. When someone says hunters can face roll you so bad and you deny it you prob haven't face a good hunter that can cc perfectly to kill you with one focus dump.

if you dont believe me just ask cherrypi for a duel, you'll see what im talking about. Even as a hpally you wont last long as she perfectly focus dumps you and follows up with scatter shot---->focus shot----->pet silence(moth)----->focus shot-----> focus dump.....GG.

No chance to cast just cd heals but that is not enough.

i've had 3v3 arenas vs. hunters where we will keep the other team controlled for multiple CC cycles, then i will leave LoS for like 0.5 seconds on my mage, get explosive shotted, and die. i'm willing to play with hunters in F2P arenas because i don't like excluding people, and i don't mind losing....it's just not a big deal at all (something i definitely can't say about a lot of other ppl here.... ). just cuz i am personally willing to play with them does not mean that i somehow do not think they are outrageously overpowered, lol

i get it, rets and prots are cheesy and frustrating to play against. but you know what else is frustrating to play against? arcane mages who can CC lock you in multiple ways while spamming a faceroll DPS spell every few seconds that does outrageous damage. warlocks who can repeatedly fear you. rogues who can shadowstep kick you or rush you down. feral druids who just spam ridiculous damage into you and can't be kited. priests who suck at healing but then cast pw:s for almost 600 damage shield and then faceroll on their pennance button to get someone back to full.

sometimes, you have to....adapt to beat a strong team comp! that's why arenas are fun....because every game is different and requires different strategies. i can tell you for a fact that both prot and ret paladins at this level are more than counterable. hunters on the other hand.....good luck!
