Able to solo 225 skinning at level 19?

Long story short I have no friends that still play on my main's realm, so when I roll a twink there I'll be on my own pretty much for 225 skinning. Can this be done solo? I'm on a non PvP realm so that won't be much of a concern. This will be on a shaman if that makes any difference.

It can be done but would require a somewhat decent to complete hit set to accomplish it. 1-160 is easy to do solo.

160-225 is the part where it gets hard. I leveled mine solo in STV by killing the gorillas near the Booty Bay entrance.

Expect to spend a few gruesome hours doing it.

Also, if you're doing it on a Shaman, I would go Enhance for the 160-225 part as it will make it much easier. Shamans only get an advantage while leveling herb since you don't need to leave ghost wolf form while looting .

I don't see this happening as a shaman in any reasonable amount of time. I did it on a rogue solo, but I used a certain... item enhancement... so all my abilities hit (as well as having stealth) Without the 25% hit, I can't imagine killing anything before it kills me, especially as a caster.
Just ask nicely for someone to spend 15-45 minutes killing every beast in sight. I'm sure it will work out.

EDIT: 150-225 took roughly an hour and a half on my rogue, but as the above (ninja) poster says, you could probably do it if you take it real slow.

I'm sure if you just get some hit gear you could solo level it, I solo leveled it the 10 or so times I leveled it, with a bit of hit gear I managed to do it as a holy pally, so I don't see why not as a shaman.

I'd also take advantage of using Pyrium Weapon Chains on both of your BoA maces for the extra 40 hit rating ea.

Yeah I'll be getting sets for both but mostly playing enhance at least for right now. I do have access to BoAs for hit as well as whatever other hit items I can scavenge together. I've done some terribly grindy and unpleasant things on my f2p so taking it slow is not a problem at all. It was mostly a question of possibility at 19. Thanks for the tips

I did up to 220 in ashenvale kiling lvl 26 deers and wolfs.. dunno if that was some sort of bug though. The last 5 lvles i killed raptors and monkeys in the lvl range of 27-28. Did this like 2 weeks ago.

for those last few levels if your main is on that server why not kill the mobs on your main then loot them and log over to the 19 and skin them? that's what I did.

yep if you dont have main you should at least make a DK. go around and pestilence spam a large group, loot, log over, skin, instant 225.

lol. I soloed 225 skinning and herbalism on my 10 rogue. at 19 it should be easy as heck

Doable. Skinning the last levels from the 26 mobs in Duskwood and some mobs in STV. Tedious shit, but it's doable.

Since we are on the topic of skinning, I had a quick question. I did trade skills on my twink when they first added the bonus and quit soon after. I've just started back and dropped minning to lvl engineering (since I can't get a BoA helm) and have skinning at 375/525 but the buff, as it says in my spellbook, requires lvl 40. So does that mean I don't get anything from it?

No. You can probably ticket a GM to lower it to the 225 cap.
