Paladin Heal: Pristine Lightforge Spaulders / Mystical Pauldrons of Elements

To assume that one knows about stats, etc:

The decision between stats in general is always a decision between healing/dps output and survivability.

But its not that simple that you take:

All resilience gear => survivability
Non resilience gear => max. healing/dps

It more answering the questions:

Do i die a lot with half or full mana? => Think about your survivability
Is my healing on teammates (geared!) too weak => Think about healing output

Holy Paladins e.g. do have a lot of armor and utility to live long on the bg's. Here you can think about max. healing output.
As a priest without similar cd's like a holy paladin you maybe think more about survivability.

Just my cents

thanks kinski, also good point twinko, transmofrying is pretty sweet, will they fix that bug one day? :) haha

Looks.

I think Pristine Lightforge Spaulders are ugly, however, I also think Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders (which to my surprise many apparently find ugly) are really nifty. So, yeah... o_o;

Resilience is weak at this level and that's if you're stacking it as much as you can (hammer, shoulders, and trinket for a paladin). So, I'd go with whatever you like, looks, stats whatever you feel is best =)

I'll say it again...... Spell power scales like shit, mana isn't an issue, and while crit is nice, it just doesn't compare to the reduction. I can sit through just about anything on my hpal. With a resil trinket, hammer, and shoulders you can get close to 10% reduction. I very rarely have to heal myself with the amount of reduction I have on Earl (2.2k armor as well). Protector of the Innocent keeps me topped off, even with a hunter on me, allowing me to heal my teammates with full attention, rather then having to self cast.
