Just wondering what is the better spec to roll out for a mage i currently role arcane, however I feel a change coming, How are the other two specs ?

Arcane if you are used to play a hunter
Frost can pull out some nice dmg and is very effective on D
Fire is not really good, but still can be fun from time to time

Frost is very viable, especially for PuG:ing, having lots of CC to cross mid etc. Also works great for FC:ing.

Tbh I've only tried Fire in one BG, wasn't too much fun. You get the opportunity to land maybe 2-3 Pyros each BG which isn't alot. So atm, not viable at all.

Yes, frost is quite good. You're also a much bigger asset to your team.

arcane mage = survival hunter
fire mage = MM hunter with long cast main damage ability
frost mage = BM hunter with pet CC

except not as good as any of those hunter specs.
In all seriousness, if all you care about is killing, roll arcane. If you want to be useful and versatile as well as able to pull decent damage, roll frost.
