First Class and Gear?

I used to do 19 twinks a lot, but I mostly never finished them. So I was wondering what a good class is to have as a starter for my first twink, and is it worth it to use that class without heirlooms? Is it worth it to use the quest/dungeon items? Let me knw what you guys think, thanks!

You're gonna have a hard time without boas. But if you get enough honor you can buy the honor boas, or do quests at the darkmoon fair to get the jp boas.

With around 3000 honor, you can convert enough honor to justice points to buy the PvE BoA's from a vendor. Weapons of course will cost quite a bit more.

You should do passably well as a physical dps with no boa's to start with. Casters just rely on the spellpower on the BoA's that much more.

I mean I have an 85, so I cna get BoA's, just takes time, and was considering making a hunter, and I know your gunna say NOOOO WE DONT NEED ANYMOER HUNTERS! But I have played a hunter since BC and I pretty much mastered them, unless anyone else has any more suggestions.

Play hunter if you "need" to play hunter.. But you're not gonna get any respect..

but i would say get some looms, then make a twink...
Its not twinking if its not BIS.. imo

If everyone made a hunter just because they played one in BC this bracket would be shittier that it is now.

Whatever class you do decide to play you'll need to get BoAs. They are very easy to obtain now.

A horde hunter could actually do alright without boas, a dagger-rogue would also work. Basically when it comes to non-boa: hunter/melee > healers > spell casters imo

Yeah, I've done fine on my hunter without BoAs, it's like a few stats lost, no big deal.

Frost mages might do fine without BoA's, just stack sta and int and some haste.
