Most mages aren't too hard, use rapid fire after the first tranq and clean them of shields before doing any damage - whilst doing this interrupt their casts using feign/silence/scatter/LoS etc.

Also, you mentioned your pet, which leads me to believe you are using a monkey? If you are, I'd strongly suggest getting a tenacity pet, namely a crab/scorpid for Roar of Sacrifice, which makes you immune to critical strikes - which is nessecary vs good rogues/mages.

i use crab or wasp (like a stun, multi-purpose vs all)
realy good roge kill me 3-4 sek, sometimes I don't manage to use Insignia or Roar of Sacrifice, or die 1-2 sek after use ))
my gear 17% resi, 14k health, 2.7k ap (+aspeсt +alchemy flask +food and engi in process)

ps prot pal is easier in in game mechanics

For 1v1 and BGs I generally use around 30% resi, which is 450. If you're in arena with a priest though you can go for around 16-20%

70 rogue vs rogue is 100% win if you get opener unless you have half a brain, its completely unbalanced. 90 degree double sap with synapse cya bro.
