So today i realised that you can kill people in the final WC encounter

well at last boss he does a spell that makes one of your team members a hostile and you can attack!!!

I've tried to do this many times but sadly the "mind control" ends as soon as they take damage from a single source.

So I can't queue up Fireball -> Arcane Barrage to fatally nuke someone, as the Arcane Barrage is negated as soon as Fireball connects.

As Shft pointed out your victim needs to have ~500hp or you need to be a class that can crit big time.
