I never really thought about trying him, I had always just assumed he was a tank and is now useless because we no longer have sacrifice. I guess I can get it a shot though, what's there to lose? 50-100 damage on a target? XDImo, try messing around with your Voidwalker as another option. It's my experience that he (?) does a bit more damage and survives longer if targeted.

Both Bizr, Salfir and a slew of others have proven warlocks 'viable' a term I despise but serves a purpose here. I'm willing to bet all of them get a great feeling when they do well as a F2P warlock, overcoming disadvantages without help from enchants. I think it comes down to what you want out of the F2P community or the 20-24 bracket. Do you wanna be a P2P who F2Ps respect for they're willingness to forego a decided advantage, and overcome hardships like they do. Or do you wanna have the decided advantage and justify it by paying or being a class at a 'disadvantage'?
You're not 24 so I'm guessing you wanna be apart of our community. So I suggest getting rid of your P2P gear and getting the rest of the gear you need. Garrosh's Pardon, that's 50hp right there. Crystalline Cuffs, that's 20hp. Lucky Fishing Hat will give you 40hp, granted you'll lose your other perks. Not sure about caster belts (maybe Ghamoo Ra's Band or Belt of the Hero?), pants, or wands but I think those can be improved too! =]
Lastly, get in a premade with a decent healer and hunters shouldn't be an issue. Seriously, with heals hunters in this bracket are garbage as many of them don't know how to play. Had a worgen disengage into stables during CTA. I r scared now? Big bad wolf had a lot of bark, not much else ;D

Succubus is complete garbage. Voidwalker all the way if there's a Priest in your group. Just make sure he/she is re-Forting after deaths, otherwise stick with Imp.
Voidwalker has more utility as well. Taunt pets off yourself/teammates. Encourage him to cast Torment at the right moments for a bit of extra burst. (I had to bind this spell after noticing he wasn't casting it as often as I wanted, even set to autocast.)
In the end, however, a Warlock's pet isn't really used for damage. That's your job at this level. Your pet is basically another health pool, with Soul Link. Keeping your pet alive/resummoned is one of the main things you need to pay attention to during battle. Many people ask, "is Soulburn only used for insta-Soulfire?" Absolutely not. Knowning when to save that CD, and insta-summon your pet back to life can save your from a ton of damage or even death.
