  • That 15 fire resistance is imaginary just fyi.

you are better off with jordan.

you do realize that you lose 4% of damage reduction from 6 resil...and a HUGE chunk of spell power for a feral who doesn't have much spell power to begin with.

6 agility increases your dps by so little that i think it's negligible.

you guys all act like feral druids never cast anything.

40 spell power is huge for any 19, not mentioning for a feral druid who doesn't have much SP to begin with.

For those who believe that you do not get feral damage from weapon damage need to go jump in a hole. It may be a little bit but you do gain damage from it. The Lava Dredger was made for the sole purpose of druids to level with and tbh Spell Power isnt that great in scaling at 19.

    Predatory Strikes

means a guaranteed regrowth every Ferocious Bite, either healing the druid himself or a team mate. not mentioning druid's signature moves like Moonfire and Rejuvenation.

GSoJ is a very viable alternative for the mace, but mace will still be bis for feral. Moonfire is mainly used for keeping enemies from restealthing, not for damage so much. Rejuvenation is a nice heal but you should have healers around anyways and as a dps I'd rather have more damage than more survivability. Regrowth heals barely anything at all in feral anyways, so I'd prefer to cast instant roots, instead of regrowth, to get around a corner to bandage or regrowth spam yourself to full. Or switch the talent to infected wounds increasing your ToT even more or letting other teammates catch up with opponents easier.

i guess it's apples vs oranges after all, if you are a glass-canon type of player, go with the mace, but if you value resilience and survivability and self healing, go with the staff.

Because fire mages and destruction warlocks are op.

    refer to original post:

that 15 FR is purely imaginary. it doesn't actually exist.

If you're gonna use a staff use headmaster's charge instead, you'll lose the resil but gain 6 crit and 7 int. The hit on GSoJ is pretty much worthless considering how much hit you already get from the shadowcraft BoA.

that's my point, i don't get why people use Repurposed Lava Dredger, both BoA staves are just better. i like jordan because of the resil.

No, feral druid is not a caster. It's about making as much damage as possible to get enemy fc/healers down.
