Because LW is expensive. Not everyone can be bothered to level it for what amounts to 20 AP and 7 crit.

Getting that much leather (I'm not sure how much you'd need to get to 400, but the amounts of leather you actually need compared to the rate at which you can farm it isn't good. You'd be better off farming something that gave you high gold for the time, and just buying it. Leveling LW to 500 on my 80 cost me around 20k gold, and most of that was the <400 stuff.

it is a 25 stamina upgrade to my Sapphire Spellthread - Item - World of Warcraft

but i do lose 50 SP.

and the thing is, i don't even have a second pair of pants to put Jormungar Leg Reinforcements - Spell - World of Warcraft on,

man level 70 twinking is just too exhausting, engineering tinkers and now this.

there are also grandfathered ZA loots and pvp trinket that i will never be able to get.

Aye, i was leveling Leatherworking to.. 405, i think it was, for the reinforcements, I've got four pairs of the legguards from kalec, figured i wouldn't get any more. Cost me almost 4000g to get to around the 200 mark, and i just gave up, due to leather stacks being up to 600g per. Maybe i'll pick up some alt with skinning and grind it out one day, when i'm releveling for synapse, for the 26th time.

I just farmed it all. Was fairly okey with master riding. Took me over 1 day tho of just farming shit.
Vanilla stuff was def the worst part, tbc knothide/ wotlk borean leathers went rly fast.
