For those who don't know me, my name is Swagpurse, the person who wasn't logged on when this tragedy occurred. I want to say a few words in memory of Pinomuffin.
Pinomuffin lived a remarkable life, one that inspired me greatly. His pvp skills, handsome toon, and him being part of AP Horde made him a wonderful person to know.
He always took an interest in the twinks he met: scrubs and pros alike. There were few players he wouldn't duel at any time or place. I introduced him to many of AP Horde over the weeks he was with us, and they always told me how interesting he'd been.
Pinomuffin pursued his many endeavours diligently, and always worked hard towards becoming BIS. I always felt that he expected the same of us, too.
He was philosophical in his approach to twinking. He especially had a great perspective when it came to the little things, never displaying anger or impatience. Instead, he showed a great fashion sense in his transmog and a wonderful sense of humour.
He extended this philosophy no matter what obstacle he faced. I have always admired this trait as it doesn't seem to have been handed down.
The strength of his character showed even in criticism. With a few wry words, Pinomuffin could be far more damning than most trolls on twinkinfo could achieve with any strong language.
I'll miss the news of his strange adventures, and I'll miss the stories from the time he got lost looking for the questgiver in Stormwind Stockade; I'll miss the tales of evil twin toon Pinopancake; about when he used to go to highschool with Hogger; and his 'orc bride'. Stories he told again and again, in the same exacting detail with every telling.
I'll miss his perspective and his gentle humour. I'll miss the surprising depth and scope of his knowledge about F2P twinking. I'll miss the warmth he extended to everyone he met.
I will miss my Pinomuffin dearly. But I will treasure his memory forever.
