These should be cosmetic options from the trainer, not glyphs!

My impression is that these would have been really cool about 3 years ago before the game was inundated with sparkle ponies and related mounts.

I'm actually not as big a fan of the Orca glyph, simply because that forms model is so terribly outdated that they should have replaced it ages ago instead of making us give up one of the other options for it.

... but the chameleon one sounds neat, and I'm not paying for this so why do I even care lol.
 
no one else think this is pointless vanity shit to pull people back to the game ? i want to hear exciting things about the classes themselves, better mechanics etc not some stupid form that they have taken from something else ALREADY created in the game. Blizzard need to do something drastically or they are fucked.

The part that scares me about all of this is Blizzard has to take a special look at every new feature and ask, "Do we let trials use this?".

If the trial program survives into MoP...
 
I feel like Blizz is going to integrate all the annoying Facebook or whatever games that people seem to like playing and inviting me to over and over again...

It's obvious the trial will survive MoP, Wow is slowly dying, new big releases of this year will makes just this worse: diablo3, gw2 & such.

They sure need a way to gain new players, and the trial is not designed for the f2p community, but to bring new players, keep that in mind.

Ya, I tend to agree. I used to feel otherwise but so much of MoP's new feature set reeks of marketing desperation.

Kung-fu pandas.

Pokemon pets battle.

Free Diablo 3 and mount for a year's sub.

Free sparkle mount and a automatic level 80 for a one-month sub.

Farmville?

None of this lightweight crap would be necessary if Blizz was making compelling MMORPG content.
 
I get the feeling that since Cata was the "low level" xpac we wont get much updating of lower level content for a long time, since blizz can kind of use that as an excuse to be lazy now.

i was almost tempted to get my p2p account back at a moment since i'll purchase Diablo3, i did some maths and if you purchase diablo3 anyway & get this year of subscription, you have a year of subscription at half price. the problem is that in the next year, i'll play diablo3 (and there is no way i'll play wow at the same time), guildwars2 & other stuff.
