Finally won Glass Shooter, BiS gun, but found a noticeable increase in pvp aggro. Everybody and their brother hears the gun and focusses on it. I went back to Charmed Ancient Bone Bow, to reduce noise and reduce aggro. The question is, how much armor-resilience-stam is the bow worth over the gun? I'd estimate the bow (silence) is worth 600 armor or 80-ish stam over the gun, because I die about three times less often with the bow.
The gun has almost a full dps over the bow, though. Anyone else have a similar experience? Any idea how to fix it?
In the old days, I loaded a laser sound for the gun and after a few BG's, the laser sound file propagated to my friend's computer(s). They asked why my gun sounded like a star-trek phasor? Now Blizz changed the client so sounds no longer propagate. Now I use the addon to reduce gun noise on my end, but others still hear it on their end and focus on it.
