Fury Warrior hit rating balance

Stamm

Legend
I'm curious to know how far i should go into hit rating before valuing str and stam more. Right now i'm using the skillpatch (8), lv 20 quest reward sword (3), Sparkmetal bracers (2), Astranaar Legguards (5), and Packleader's Pauldrons (4) which i hope to replace with the justice BoA.

In total this is 22 hit rating. Will be 18 After i get the Justice BoA. I could get 5 more hit rating by using demon band and Bravo Company signet, but I would lose 3 str and 4 stam. My main question is: How much hit is enough? Normally you would only use enough to get off the special attacks, but fury has 40% auto attack dmg increase.

I felt this was a bit too long and in depth to put under the questions thread.

Dude that is an absurd amount of hit rating. Once you get to 5%, you can stop...
The patch and bracers are enough, honestly. Anything else is overkill unless you are trying to kill higher level mobs or players. Allow me to explain: 5% extra hit rating ensures that you will NEVER get a 'miss'. You may still get dodged or parried (mitigated by expertise, but you can pretty much ignore that for now), but missing will be 0% on other 20's.

If you're gonna DW, stacking hit isnt a bad idea. But for 2H, you only need 5% hit against ohter 20s.

Eventually I'll have all looms viable for a warrior. I'm gonna get max hit (without using other class's gear) and see how my dps is compared to other times. I doubt it will be improved for 20's but i might use the hit set for 24 premades

im still not sure why everybody insists on 2h fury. sure the burst potential is fucking awesome, but DW fury is by far better.more rage regeneration, more consistent damage, your BT crits and mainhand crits dont hit for too much less then with 2h.

I only consider DW better against Rshams or Paladin.

In my opinion, after playing enough warrior to make a normal person pull their hair out:

DW is better where consistent hard damage will overwhelm them, rather than burst. I suggest using Dual wield to build rage on healers, and switch to a 2h and attempt to burst them with a full rage bar.

2H is better when you have minimal time on target. such as vs hunters or rogues (who should never give you their back, thus dodging).

In a premade situation (or even with just healers) I found I was not rage starved with a 2h, and I suggest 2h fury is just better in general with the way warrior are right now. This is NOT to say that dual wield isn't good too, it is.
