Yes you can, although I strongly suggest to stay 70 because 71-74 is looked down upon by half the community

before lvlup to 71 give the leader of your team to a friend who will stay in the team forever or to 1 of your alt lvl 70. Cause if u pass lvl 70 u cannot invite anyone in team.
