20 or 24?

Well I have this Warlock on Aerie Peak Alliance, but I wanted to make one on Horde side as well, so I'm making a Blood Elf Warlock.

But what I'm curious about, is should I go all the way to 24? or should I stay at 20?
The only spell I gain in 21-24 is Keroggs Eye, nothing else, so I was curious if Intellect scales better at 20 then 24 or if 24 would do more damage?

(I have full looms, I just took them off Pegasister to put them on my Belf Warlock)

Well I guess it depends on what abilities you want to have access to, and how easy you want to make it on yourself. Most do go to 24 just because it's possible, but I do know a few who have stopped at 20 just to keep it challenging.

Look at it this way tho, if you try 20, and hate it, you can always level to 24. If you take it straight to 24 and find it too easy you would have to start a new toon, so I'd say try 20 first :)

I would imagine it's like playing a 15 instead of a 19. You may not have all of your abilities or the top tier gear designed for that level range, but you do it just because you find some fun in it.

Only reason for being 24 if you aren't premading against other 24s: You're too bad to make it as a 20.

Yea, that's kinda what I was thinking. I will give 20 a chance, I just like the concept of playing one the the least played classes and willingly staying at the lower level by choice, rather than force.
But if for any reason I don't hit hard enough (Which I can't see that being much of a problem, I'm hitting pretty hard just as a 16) then I might roll up to 24, but I'll give 20 a chance.

Rolling anything on Horde AP, does it matter? 9/10 three or more players from AP will beat any random pug. To be honest though, I'd rather see a 24 than a 20 with p2p enchants.

If you are on ap might as well make a 20 and play with the other 20s. I dont think it would be fun playing a 24 on a 20 realm and not be part of the community there.

Hit rating would be something to consider as well. You need 5 percent at lvl 24 to hit other 24's, at lvl 20 you might have some fears etc miss against 24's. But the best thing is to play what you want and how you want, especially in a pug.
