Faction Changing / Refunding it

  • If I were to buy a faction change, then quickly grab the quest items I needed from that faction, and then called blizz and asked for a refund(and go back to my orgininal faction); would I lose my items?

I tried this on a 70 and they just rolled me back. I did not keep anything.

you can buy the fact change, get the items, than ask for you to go back ally/ horde. They won't give you a refund, but you don't have to pay for another faction change to go back.

but will I get to keep the items?

Doubt you will be able to keep the items, they will just probably re-roll you to the state your character was in before.
    It's not going to work.

I've done this many times, always kept everything i got but last time i did it was like 4 months ago.

    So which is it?

Eh, i guess i'll find out 1 way or another.

Alright here is my personal experience.

Pay for your transfer > grab the items > make a ticket the day after > say you did a stupid mistake, you have no more founds and already miss your friends > they will offer a roll back > refuse, say you in the meanwile bought a couple of items or hearned a couple of items > they should normally offer you a transfer after the 3 day cooldown ( blizz pays for it ) and if you are lucky you will be listed to be refounded of the initial transfer.

Did it 4 times, got my cash back 4 times.

I did this on Soldjah, and I kept the items. Don't mind that I'm that I'm ally, factioned again...
