Hey guys, I haven't twinked in a long time, since bc i believe, and me and a buddy are deciding to get back into it, what are the que times like? What about the community?

Ques are 5-10 min usually closer to 5 (at least on Alliance).

The community has gotten a bit stronger since I've gotten back into twinking. New guilds forming and Qing together daily. More balanced games and more skilled players. The future looks bright, friends. :)
 
The community is a bit harsh: Just a month ago, someone was run off the site after being exposed as a fraud. Scary stuff here, use this site with caution.
 
Community is largely unchanged. You still have your elitists and jerks with nice people mixed in. Queue times are okay 5-20 mins.

Wow. You totally just made us all sound like horrible people. Way to discourage new blood. Honestly, as long as you ignore Dorigon this site isn't bad at all.
 
Take it as you will, but that expose thread probably ruined that tinke's life.

Just don't give out any personal info I guess.

But you have to put it in context. The kid was on here talking shit acting like he and his friends were all the greatest to ever play the game..Until we discovered that he bought the gladiator account for the sole purpose of bragging to us and attempting to start drama on here. Kid got what he deserved.
 
Yo.."new blood" here. Just got back into twinking..and thought I'd start off with a bang....i.e. not making a hunter/rogue! I know, say it isn't so! It seems the consensus for weekly ques are 11pm or later.

Still missing some resil shoulders/trinket, AGM and the mail belt from randoms.

You may as well go join chilltink, balditron, and friends in the EU with that anti-Dori sentiment of yours. My words may be blunt, but they belie the hard truth that lies beneath.
 
I just came back from a three year break myself, leaving shortly after wrath, it's interesting, the community hasn't changed a bit, from what I see there are a lot more twinks that aren't the greatest, nothing wrong with that. Things have change when it comes to the PVP itself, there are some changes to the terrain in WSG, i personally dislike them quite a bit. You can turn off XP, and that negated a huge part of what twinking has always been, there is no longer that feeling of just making it, or planning meticulously to not level. Most the work is done on your main now because of BoA's which i also greatly dislike. It's still fun, the games are more balanced, as always there is a surplus of rogues and hunters. It doesn't appear as though there are as many premade's that their once was. Over all it's still enjoyable and what i'm going to dedicate most my time on WoW too. Welcome back.
