We were all noobs in the biginning...

Legend
I'm sure most of you fellow tinkers haven't always been as pr0 as you are today. I'm quite certain we've all been nooby in the very beginning of our WoW-carreers.

I'll start with my "mistakes":
  1. The first week at WoW ('06) someone wanted to sell a really cool item in /2, so I whispered him, here's the conversation:
Me: "How much?"
Seller: "Offer?"
Me: "FUCK YOU"
In Swedish, "offer" can be seen as an insult.

2. In Vanilla, when I first started playing (back when no BoA-gear, no RaF and it was much harder to reach lvl 60) I created a Human Paladin. After like 10 hours of active play-time I had reached level 10, only by killing mobs - I found the game to be so boring and hard that I quit and didn't start again until my mate explained about quests to me..

3. The very same Paladin I told you about, when I started playing him again, after my break - and when I had reached lvl 22-23 I realised that he wasn't a Warrior, but a PALADIN..I almost quit a 2:nd time.

This is totally right thats why I try to help people as much as I can
Though sometimes I do become a hypocrite and Shun the new people for being a ssssssssnake

Indeed we were.

When I started with World of Warcraft I was ten years old and English is my second language. Wasn't easy to look up strategies in English when i barely mastered Swedish fully.

Yea when I was around 8 it was hard to do I just killed mobbed Didn't even know about quest until my dad said something around level 30+ :D

my first toon was a undead rogue on a trial account called geonendora... top dog
learnt to not keyboard turn on trial acc after getting thrashed by 19 twink rogue over and over... and thus started my career as a twink

My first toon was a human warlock because a guy I knew from RuneScape :)D) said they're OP. So I rolled one and made friends with this druid. We levelled together, and once she asked me to go to a battleground with me. I was getting roflstomped obviously, with 200hp I would guess, and then the druid raged at me cus I didn't help her or something :D Then I started dreaming of leveling a druid cus she always beat me in duels with great maul hits from bearform, and bearform looked so awesome! So I levelled my Wlock to 40ish and changed realm to level a druid with my friend.

During these 4 years I've played, I have never reached the level cap! That's how noob I am. I remember "twinking" with my druid at 29 and then later at 39 and had a lot of fun and did quite well actually, despite the fact I didn't know what was the best gear for my lvl etc :) When I finally reached a gold sum to buy the leg enchant for 10 agi and 40 stam, it was like soooo cool! 400 more hp, talk about being badass! The druid is now lvl 84 and sitting on a realm I don't really play anymore, I do have a 19 nearly bis hunter there, but I'm gonna transfer that away aswell :(

Also my first char that I had the single intention of making a twink (I heard they're cool), was a lvl 19 gnome rogue! Gnome cus I thought noobs weren't going to be able to click me because I'm so small :D It wasn't really a success, missing so many stuff a viable twink should have. He however had 1k hp and 2 blue quality weapons, goggles, like half of the items were BiS aswell :p But I think I didn't have +15 agi glove enchants and some other stuff. Later I leveled that gnome to 74 through battlegrounds, and I can say it was a success. I dont think I ever during that 19->74 had more than 5 deaths, or less than 15 kills :D

Yeah that's my cool story bro, probably too long and boring to read but I felt like writing, for the glory of the old days!

I fired away Distracting Shot on my dwarf hunter the first few lvls I had it, because it was just an extra shot so it had to be good!

I compared my hunter's strength with that of my brother's hunter.

I never found Felix's bucket.

My first charater on my own account was this awsome undead priest.. Took me 1+h to lvl 10 aswell o: but i did quests and didn't found them an shit, was a hell to lvl, bleh. Then at lvl 20 It was free migrate from my beloved bronzebeards so ofc!! I took it and found myself on some random server with no way to get back.. So with my friends playing on the other realm I found my self very alone and started a Druid at Bronzbeard agian ><'

I'm still lvl 20 on that priest, lovely

The druid i started took me about 1.5h years to get to lvl 70, never got it to 60 when u could either.. Alot of gd memories on that druid, was pvping all the time at all lvls, just to get stomped...Runned sfk to at lvl 40 so i could affort riding skill, and started my first "twink" when I had it at 40, was kinda annoying to found the twink ><'

The first think i did when i dinged lvl 70 was to gank ppl in westfall, payback for all my deaths at XR!

I wanted a paladin, but I thought you needed a level 60 to create one, so I started a priest to realize few weeks after that I could create a paladin without a 60..

Yet, that was the good time, back when I was just a young teenager playing a video game, hoping to be good at it.

P.S:
On my first day on WoW, I was a NE Priest, and met this guy while doing a quest. He told me he knew a lot about the game and that he would bring me to a place good to level instead of Darn Zone. So we walked from Darn to Theramore to take boat to wetlands and walked to IF and took Tram to SW.. on a level 6 priest. Gosh I was clueless hehe

i do not get how you walked from darnassus to theramore. iirc you could have take a boat from rut'theran to auberdine and then take a boat from there to minethil (before they changed it to a boat to NR)

but other than that, its not that clueless. i always used to take NEs to stormwind to lvl in elwynn -> westfall -> dark...ok you get the point. i never liked kalimdor and always went to EK. pain in the ass walk, took fucking forever not having a mount or flight paths. and running through higher lvl zones meant corpse running, yay! people nowadays have it so ez...took so long to put in all flight paths tho, i was so salty when LK came out even and DKs got all FPs instantly and i would roll a new alt/twink and have to run/ride my ass around still.

i wish there was a blizzard vanilla server starting at like 1.4 or something maybe, then go through all the content patches and then do bc again and maybe even lk. cata just sucked in comparison to all those imo. progressing through vanilla and the 1st two xpacs was just so fun, novel, exciting and epic
