Mobs around LFH

Hey guys,

Will be fishing up my LFH on my shaman this weekend hopefully, just wondered what the best solution to avoid the mobs when fishing on the coast? Do you guys stack some hit and take them out and carry on fishing? Or do you find the perfect spot to avoid drawing aggro?

I'd just avoid the southwestern coastline, as it's plagued with naga and pirates. On the coast north of Hardwrench Hideaway, you'll encounter only a couple of panthers and basilisks which can be easily taken out; most of the eastern coastline is clear.

I would say fish around Grom'gol, there are so many good spots around there and the mobs are few if you manage to find some

Generally, it's a good idea to stay in Northern Stranglethorn as the mob level range is lower and there's a lot of safe places to fish there but it can get crowded. The cape can prove difficult and time consuming but it too has some decent spots, particular behind gurubashi, it seems like no one hangs out there and it's pretty safe. Just be sure to avoid the horde base nearby if you're ally ;D

If you do get attacked, and can't win, run and hope that some other 20 will help you, not sure how many are out there though. I've seen people fish pools while players die and I've seen people stop fishing to help players who were dying. I always stop and help, so don't run from me x)

Just jump in the water if attacked - most mobs will stop at the water's edge. And don't fish in my pool! I was here first (hahaha feeding the trolls).

This is true (I forgot D, mostly the kitty cats seem to be afraid of the water :3

I do believe the pirates will hunt you down though ;D Yargh!
