New to the f2p bracket and I have one main question... How do you make gold?

DMF when you can and do fishing/cooking in other cities other then org/sw, they pay like 92-3s.

There's really no need to invest. Once you have your transmogs, pets and cooking recipes, there's really nothing to spend it on.

Well I do frequently invest in a few stacks of thread/flux to take to Halaa when I plan on doing nothing but BGs for a while.

What's the best way to make gold as a f2p account?

As far as making gold, there's tons of different ways to make the gold. I would assume doing Cooking, Fishing, and DMF dailies would be the easiest way. I would suggest you to get Exalted with 1 Major City(IE: Stormwind or Orgrimmar) from doing Dungeons

After you've reached your 10g Gold Cap, go to the major city that you are exalted with and start buying Eternium Thread. The resell value is high and you will want to get as many of these as you possibly can.

As far as spending your gold, there's very few things you'll actually spend your gold on. But the most important thing is Halaani Whiskey. The more Eternium Threads you can get(they stack up to 20) the better, that way you can continue to buy Halaani Whiskey each time you're done with a BG.

Hopefully this'll help

2 main sources of gold:

1. Quests (by the time this runs out, you'll have purchased most everything you can get your hands on)
2. Random dungeon finder (with the intro of DMF drops, always a reason to run randoms even after you're geared out)

I don't buy a whole lot of whiskey (only pop consumables after the BG has gotten underway and looks like we have a decent chance of winning...or if I'm working on a specific achievement). I have 5 stacks of thread in the bank and sitting at gold cap...not much I can do with it.
