Horde Enh Shaman Race...

Sheriff Earl
I've narrowed it down to troll and orc. The axe specialization from orc means nothing, as McGowans are completely superior to Axe of the Enforcer which is a pipe dream anyways. What it really comes down to is haste vs AP. I'll be running Herbalism ofc, macroing my Lifeblood into my racial for maximum burst damage potential. Enh shamans are based heavily off of weapon damage, meaning AP is not extremely influential on just how hard LL and PS will hit. From what i've gathered playing Enh, roughly 25-30% of our DPS comes from white hits, making it the largest portion of our DPS table. I feel like the haste would be the more beneficial racial, yet I've never seen a troll Enh shaman. If anyone has played one, I am very interested in hearing their opinion on the matter.

I have to admit that my race choice was only style factor. I love orcs and especially shaman orcs.

But i think it will make not real difference if troll or orc. Personally i have binded Lifebloom to my healing surge because surivability is THE big part for an enhance in bg's,
not mainly damage as the dps is strong enough when you can get @ your target and you're nearly BIS (Bloodfury is binded to Lava Lash for max. dmg here).
As an orc the 15% stun reduction is also helpful at surviving in bg's.

But your idea is interesting. The white hits are really a huge part of our dps (and i dont know why a lot of the rare enhance's out there run around with a small amount of hit).

Maybe someone out there tested troll before. I cannot remember any good equiped troll enhance out there too.

Cheers

P.S.: When you talk of arena i think troll could have a little advantage because you dont get shooted by 5 hunters at once.
Here i can think of a max. haste build.

hey gattuso altes haus ;-)

just wanna know fast, if your shammy is BiS so far - i am thinking about making my shammy an enhancer as well - or if i passed on too many BiS-items already for a change...?

i have almost a complete fang-set, serpents shoulders and blackwolf bracers, the trinkets are the same and the other ring and the agi-necklace + prisoner-shoes are easily obtainable...

(i will never be able to get the green ring obviously and the shoulders arent obtainable any more as well, but they arent BiS anyways because there are boa-shoulders)

Servus Grizzwolf (Wo kommst Du her?),

i'm not BIS.

I did the wrong decision for the quest reward in bfd (took Je'neu's robe) and tried 3 times to let a GM change it. Didn't work.
Also i don't think i will ever get AGM on AP.

But here is my personal horde BIS enhance:
Enhance Chardev

I will always try to get at least 7% hit (horde). Its 5% + 2% nightelfs against lvl 20 for your specials.

The Fang-Set was an option as long as int increased spellpower. After the change the other options are superior (Maybe even before, but i prefered the set). Now its only good for a larger manapool.
Only wear the belt because the right one didn't drop so far (Also the cloak).

But let me tell you: As long as you dont have 2x McGowan you will cry a lot in bg's.

Cheers

The reason you haven't seen any troll enh shamans is because there's like 7 enh shamans in the entirety of the bracket...

Go troll.
Get Herb/Alchemy
Make a Lifeblood/Berserking CD Macro
Find a Pocket Healer

Then go have fun

I think that warstomp > other shit.
Between orc and troll tho, I like troll much more. I think the racial is gonna be more burst and better heals, and at this level I think voodoo shuffle > the orc stun thing.
If it was me, I would roll troll because troll is stylin so hard.
When I think pally, human male comes to mind, hunter/rogue-NE, warlock-undead, warrior-orc, druid-tauren and troll just screams shaman to me. Shit, I'm about to make a troll shaman now.

How can troll scream shaman to you? Ever heard of thrall?

Imo orc screams shaman whilst troll screams hunter.

Anyway I'd like to see what you do as a troll since next to mastery haste is one of the most effective damage stats for shamans :)
