would LW at 70 be any good ?

They're boe

The leg kit is indead superior and still gives the better stats even if u drop LW afterwards, which means u can drop it right after u attained it and just get JC or something else intresting.

LW is superior stamina-wise. If you're making an FC LW is #1 followed by JC.

I should also note that the extra stats from LW leg imbues are NOT lost after dropping the profession.

jc is (3) 22 stam increase, so 66 stam

bc is 60 extra stam, but can also be a lot more diverse. You can use w/e gems you want in those extra slots, rather than jc only having limited epic gems. (dunno if this is still the case, but there were only certain gems that had an upgraded jc version)

those gloves are BoE so you can farm the recipe on other character

LW is surerior and unique with two things. Yes it have sta/ap bracer enchant , but.

1st- leg reinforcements does NOT require the profession to be active, so you can level it, enchant legs and drop the profession.
2nd- Wrist resistance enchants, especially frost resist one Fur Lining - Frost Resist - Spell - World of Warcraft - thats a "win button" vs frostmages on arenas ( or rated bg's) + cloak + head enchant and you have 110 frostres- not bad.

Add there 70 racial dwarf frost res and 180 will give you 50.7% of resistance. Full PVE mages are critting for only 2.5-2.9k with synapse on 30% resil and that resistance. Also on rated bg you can swap gear from frost to fire or other resistance if you have some problems.

Also there are plate-only frost res gear parts ( i will recommend to replace legs only. dont ask. just legs. because with replacing head or chest you will lose much more stats) Iceguard Leggings - Item - World of Warcraft . with all of this and losing legs stats you will have 240 frost resistance. even if the mage have around 150 spell penetration ( /wave hypercranks) it wont harm you.
