Which flag carrier class should I make?

    • My friend and I are making level 19 twinks (first time twinking :D) with the intention of capping the flag as much as possible. He's decided to make a discipline priest. I was thinking a restoration shaman would go well with that (earth shield and priest bubble sounds good to me). I may be wrong though. We would be doing pugs exclusively. I don't even know if any twink guilds exist on our server... Anyways, what do you fine twinks think would compliment a disc priest the best and allow us to bring honor to the Horde? Thanks for your time! :)
     
    When paired with healers prot warriors are the best Fc
    that being said alot of prot bis gear is grandfathered
    id suggest holy pally or resto druid b4 shaman and elemental b4 resto

    I would try going Holy or Prot as a paladin first.

    Prot Warriors are viable FCs, but you may want more in-game experience with FCing before trying that.


    As far as Resto Druid FCs go, if you aint BiS with good experience with FCing(IE: Terrain Jumps and knowing when to kite) then it's safe to assume that u wont get very far as a resto druid FC.

    ^ Palas are prob the most viable fc class to play. If you want some more challenge you should try reroll a resto druid and learn all the jumps.
     
    Go prot/holy pally (you will be FC) and your bud can be a disc/holy priest. You will change alot of games if you two are good.
     
    Personally, I would suggest a paladin as a flag carry especially since they have more survivability since they can heal themselves and i believe they will be getting buffed in Mist of Pandoria in the future.

    Considering the actual calculator, they're getting a movement increase at 19

    +10% speed all time > Minor speed (and more stam)
    Or
    1Min CD 70% 8sec Sprint
    Or
    45% sprint 3sec after judgement.


    Any of those is pretty massive for a FCer

    I will refrain from giving you shi* on those grounds, but the prospective resto shaman buffs in MoP will still leave them more vulnerable than paladins once the debuted start stacking.

    OP, paladin is easily the most user friendly option for FC, and right at the top in effectiveness, both now and for the foreseeable future.
     
    Make a Warrior or Paladin. Warriors are better for premades and Paladins are better for pugs.

    Warrior: Clap

    This is best combo, but I would go duel pallies so the FC pally can do some side healz and stuff. Also, you can play solo if one of you are out.

    P.S - Pallies are universal class and can FC/DPS/Heal. Good for when you get bored constantly FC'ing. Best of luck you and your friend

    Paladins are the best FC IMO because you have a decent health pool, instant spells, heals decently and are pretty hard to kill compared to other classes though warriors seem better with healers because the high armor and health.

    R druids are the funnest IMO, nice utility though die quite easily without healers :(
