Calling out AP F2p twinks!

So i am planning on making a pally on AP! Any suggestions on which faction i should choose? and what spec is needed the most? Holy? Prot? Ret? :)
 
Anything, dude. We have such a shortage of Paladins already. But seriously; roll Alliance so I can melt your face.

dont worry so much about what is needed but instead of what is the most fun for you, there are a bunch of Fagadins out there so choose whatever you'd like. the most important aspect here is to have fun. As for horde and ally, go by what you want, for me i chose Horde cause of shorter q times and plus the "of the Horde" title is a future goal of mine
 
With some of the quest gear, you really have to make a choice which spec is more important. You can't simply respec to BiS gear sets at will, so it might be worth making more than one character. Do the DMF quests when it's in town and cut down on that long grind to 20.

So i am willing to Deck out on a certain spec, I just want to know what/where you guys need help. I have fun in any spec, as long as i am contributing to my team ^.^

Roll on AP Horde. You'll be playing with 30+ people almost all the time, premades going on at almost all hours (though not all of them are organised/thought out :p) and enjoy what is the F2P equivalent of Barrens Chat in our channel. :)

Though to be fair, with such small real gains with certain BiS items it may be worth it to lose out on a BiS item to better equip your offspec.

Most of the choices add up to losing somewhere around 3 points of a stat at max. So it's not like you'll be sitting there crying in your sleep over it. I know I know, "but Bob, twinking is all about min/maxing to the extreme." which is a fair point. It's also all about getting set up so you can go and PVP instead of grinding, so if you have two almost BiS sets and can just jump into BGs and be done, that sure beats grinding a second pally so you can get those last 8-10 stats total.

Please note, I don't have much time to play so I tend to prioritize differently than others.

In regard to which side:

-Ally - - easier to gear up for just about every class, higher Pug win ratio, better racials available, longer queue times.
-Horde - - fast queue times

hm after more then 6 months break from wow I think i'm coming bk again, this time as F2P twink.
I was having same dilemma, should i go horde or ally when making pally twink.
At first I thought ally since I have been horde from the moment i started playing this game (that and better gear available to ally pallys).


But then, I <3 horde so much that I think AP horde side is gonna get new pally twink today.

come to horde and make a ret, we need dps toons. You'll have enough healers to keep you up. Working on a ret gear set myself. Premades happen everyday and if not make some noise and request one. Do it now since lving will be easy do to holiday buffs.

First off welcome!

Second - I don't see many ret pallies these days if you are looking for something a lil different.

With this coming weekend as WSG call to arms you should have an easy time leveling through bgs from 10-15.
 
I've said it before in threads EXACTLY like this one. It's gotten to the point that no one cares anymore. Roll what you want it doesn't make a difference at all.

Play what you want and HAVE FUN.
